In the chassis, leaf-springs on front axle are long, so that the spring stroke is 300 mm (maximal permitted by FIA), combined with doubled shock absorbers Sachs with extra oil reservoir (2 absorbers per each side). To prevent the damage to springs, fron axle is reinforced with two extension rods; these elements are standard for MAN trucks intended for use in heavy-duty conditions. The reasonable number of spring stops is located in appropriate points all over the suspension length. Rear axles are standard with reinforced shock absorbers. In Rally MAN cab a safety cage HEIGO is mounted (FIA certified). The gain in the front panel and foot-rest is forseen for a third man in a crew. The cab is supplied with safety lines. In addition, there is a carbon panel in front of the gear lever to facilitate for the driver fastened by safety belts the access to switches (diff lock control and others). Additional carbon panel is mounted for co-driver.
